A properly applied gel manicure typically lasts 2–3 weeks without chipping. Longevity depends on your nail care routine, lifestyle, and how you use your hands. We recommend returning every 2–3 weeks for a fresh gel application.
Gel-X uses soft gel tips bonded with gel polish — no harsh chemicals, no strong odors, and no damage to your natural nail. Acrylics use a liquid monomer and powder that can be more damaging and require more aggressive removal. Gel-X is our preferred extension method for its safety and natural feel.
We strongly recommend professional removal at the salon. Gel removal involves soaking in acetone and gentle filing — done incorrectly at home, it can damage your natural nails. Book a removal appointment and we'll take care of it safely for just $20.
Absolutely! Gel-X extensions are a perfect canvas for nail art. Chrome, cat-eye, hand-painted designs, ombre, and more can all be applied on top of your extensions. Just let us know your vision during your consultation.
