How long do lash extensions last?
Lash extensions typically last 2–3 weeks before a fill is needed. Your natural lashes shed on a cycle, and as they shed, the extensions go with them. Most clients schedule fills every 2–3 weeks to keep their lashes looking full. With proper aftercare, your set can last even longer.
Do lash extensions damage natural lashes?
When applied correctly by a certified lash artist, extensions should not damage your natural lashes. At Salon Lamont, we use proper isolation techniques and appropriate lash weights to protect the health of your natural lashes. Damage typically only occurs from improper application or picking/pulling at extensions.
What's the difference between Classic, Hybrid, and Volume lashes?
Classic lashes apply one extension per natural lash for a clean, natural look. Volume lashes apply a fan of 2–6 ultra-fine extensions per natural lash for a fuller, more dramatic look. Hybrid is a mix of both — giving a textured, wispy finish that's between natural and dramatic. We'll help you choose the right style during your consultation.
How should I prepare for my lash appointment?
Come to your appointment with clean, makeup-free eyes — especially no mascara, eyeliner, or eye cream. Avoid caffeine beforehand as it can cause eye twitching. Remove contact lenses before your appointment. The application process takes 1.5–2.5 hours, so plan accordingly.
